This series explores how the organic textures of Acetaia Giusti’s balsamic vinegar and De Venoge’s champagne interact and contrast each other when coming into contact; just like the two producers met during the Paris Exposition in 1889, L’Incontro was born. The elements create a suggestive mixture of organic shapes linking light to shadows, and the continuous flow of material brings the spectator on an almost biological journey between the delicate champagne bubbles and the intensity of the balsamic vinegar.
The exhibition took place on October 19, 2024 inside Acetaia Giusti (the oldest vinegar factory in the world) during the first year of Fuoribolla in Modena.
